Poland Mission Trip

Hi, Rick Kendall here reporting on a wonderful ministry trip to Poland. This trip was financially made possible by several Body Network members who invested much into the outreach into this incredible country.

Most people in America don't have any idea what Poland is like, but as the pictures above reveal there's tremendous commerce, beautiful architecture, and busy traffic full of small cars and lots of people walking the downtown streets. Poland's economy is still suffering the fallout of many past years of communist oppression, but the resourcefulness and determination of the country's people are causing a slow but sure improvement to the economy each year.

Picture (1) above is Pastor Witold Kantorek, who hosted the Revival Conference and he is standing outside the church he built, New Life Church in Elblag, Poland. Pastor Kantoreck has also planted new churches in Poland like the one he's standing in front of in picture (2) in Frombork, Poland. For many years, Pastor Kantorek and his precious wife and family have labored with great results to bring a move of God to Poland that has been growing in intensity with each passing year. With a country largely influenced by the Catholic church and many traditional mindsets in the region, God has been using Pastors like him who are dedicated to introducing the fresh wind of the Holy Spirit to pierce through the oppression caused by years of former conflicts in their country. In Picture (3) Pastor Kantorek opened the Conference with a powerful message entitled the Spirit and the Word that set the tone for the entire Conference. The Praise team (picture 4) at New Life church is one of the most anointed praise teams I've heard and sing from their hearts true worship and praise.

Before the main Conference began, I had the privilege of speaking for New Life church Sunday morning and evening and their Tuesday service, and then on Wednesday I met Pastor Marian Biernacki of the Pentecostal church in Gdansk, Poland in picture (1) above. They meet in a 600 seat former movie theatre, and in picture (2) I'm preaching to his church and Pastor Kantorek is my interpreter. Picture (3) gives a little more of the scope of the size of the building that they hope to buy. God put it in my heart to preach about Ezekiel's prophecy to the dry bones and again I felt God was using this time to speak prophetically into the spiritual atmosphere of Gdansk, Poland. God moved and the people responded wholeheartedly.

The New Life church that hosted the Conference was full and now we had come to the first day of the 3 day event. The praise team here (in Picture 1) was representative of three churches, and the first day of the conference, a regional conference of pastors (in a Pentecostal denomination representing about 10 Churches) joined in the main Conference. (Pictures 2 & 3) show me speaking with an interpreter, and I spoke concerning pulling down more strongholds in the spiritual atmosphere of Poland. The auditorium was full and the people have a heart to receive (picture 4). The response was overwhelming as God released more of what the Pastors there had been faithfully sowing for many years. The harvest is vast in Poland.

 We believed God for a Breakthrough anointing, and God honored that investment! Breakthrough is also progressive and it was already being sown by pastors in Poland long before I got there to minister. My joy was to stand along side of these men and women of faith and lift their hands up in encouragement and knitting of strong relationships that connects nations in Jesus Name! There's more ministry coming through this God activated relationship that will continue to open doors in Poland in Jesus mighty Name! Amen!
