Not Religion, but a Relationship

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life!  John 3:16

So many people are looking for the truth and there are so many religions that say they possess the truth, but how can a person know if they've found the truth?

Jesus said; I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father but by Me. (John 14:6)

Jesus said this and then backed it up by laying down His life for our sins. We could not escape the bondage of sin on our own, but Jesus paid the price on the cross to set us free. No other religion or religious founder ever laid down their lives for their followers, but Jesus, the Son of God, hung on the cross as the penalty for our sins.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

What can a person do to receive salvation?

We are not saved through good deeds, but by the grace of God.

If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the grave (that's right, Jesus defeated death by resurrecting from the tomb) you will be saved!

Does this mean you will instantly understand it all? Of course not, but it means you have entered into the truth and a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Now it's vital to tell someone you've accepted what Jesus did for you, and tell someone you've received salvation. You can e-mail us right here at victory554@msn.com or find a great church.
